Trails in the GHNP

The major advantage the GHNP has over other protected natural areas is it accessibility or rather the lack of it. Just to reach the core boundaries of the park one has to trek for more than one day from the two sides of Sainj and Tirthan. The trails though visible are tought to negotiate but lead one to natural wonders which can only be felt and not described. The amazing scenery , prestine flora and fauna and above all the unique experinence of being in one of the remotest corners of the Western Himalayas are an invitating enough for adventurist from all corners of the world. Posted by Picasa

Unclimbed Peaks at Tirath

These are the natural wonders in a land where nobody dares to go. By going to Tirath you automatically become a Tirthi which means a pilgrim. So sacred is this place to the locals that they belive if you have sinned , you will never be able to reach this sacred spot. Posted by Picasa
